2.8 THM Protocol
All vertical paper movement is controlled with line step commands. In the example
below, the header defines the basic document and then used for all paper movement is
determined by the application program to properly position the paper.
All characters are standard ASCII, both MICR and Gothic. Gothic and MICR data must
follow the following format for proper handling by the THM Gothic printer: Refer to section
2.5 for character value tables.
•
MicrMaster 449 mode is set by (8D hex).
•
MICR line data must be preceded by “ Ä ” (8E hex).
To print the MICR buffer at the end of a job, terminate the job with EOF ( FF hex), this
prints the buffer through to the second printhead.
Example:
2.75” document with one line of Gothic check numbers and one line of MICR.
