Switching the AUX Input
DSP mode
The DSP mode lets you add the atmosphere of a live con-
cert or hall to PCM or analog of program source. These
modes are particularly effective when used with stereo
program sources, like CD, television, and FM radio. You
might enjoy trying the Hall, Disco, Church, Live mode the
next time you watch a concert or sporting event!

When playing the source component connected to the AUX jacks (2ch.) or that connected to the 6CH.
INPUT jacks (DVD, VIDEO,etc), it is required to switch the AUX input.
With “6ch. Input”, the audio from the surround L/
R channels becomes monaural.
Headphone listening :
With “6ch. Input”, intended effects cannot be
obtained through headphones. When using
headphones, be sure to set the source compo-
nent to the 2ch output setting.
Tape recording :
With “6ch. Input”, correct recording is not pos-
sible on tape. When recording a 6CH. INPUT
source on tape, be sure to set the source com-
ponent to the 2ch output setting.
