Display
The displays given in this manual are approximations only. They may differ from what
actually appears on the display.

Timer-related indicators

Sound level meter
The display varies according to the music or the opera-
tions of the CD, tape, etc.
During the volume adjustment, this meter displays the
current sound level as a reference.

Equalizer/EX.Bass/DSP/“S. direct” indicators

Cassette deck-related indicators
This section contains the cassette deck operation indi-
cators. The indicated information includes the tape
reverse mode and tape transport direction.

Character information display
Displays the input selection, frequency, volume level,
etc.

TOTAL indicator
Light to indicate the elapsed playing time or remaining
time of the entire CD.

Tuner-related indicators

REPEAT/PGM/RANDOM indicators
When repeat, program or random playback of CD is
selected, the indicator lights.

CD player-related indicators
This section contains the CD play and pause mode
indicators.

Switching the sound level meter display mode
Each press switches the
modes as follows.
“Display Auto”
“Display 1”
“Display 2”
÷
When
“Display Auto”
is selected, the display
mode during CD playback changes to
“Display 1”
and
“Display 2”
every time the track changes.
÷
“Display 2”
is displayed regardless of the
current music signal level.
