Installation procedure
1. Remove the ignition key and disconnect
the negative (-) terminal of the battery to
prevent short circuits.
2. Connect the input and output cables of
the units.
3. Connect the ground cable, battery cable,
and ignition cable of the w iring harness
in the order listed.
4. Install the unit in the car.
5. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the
battery.
6. Press the Reset button.
• If the fuse blow s, check cables for
shorts, then replace the fuse w ith one of
the same rating.
• Check that no unconnected cables or
connectors are touching the car body.
Do not remove caps from unconnected
cables or connectors to prevent short
circuits.
• After installation, check that the brake
lamps, w inkers, and w ipers w ork
properly.
• Insulate unconnected ends of cords w ith
vinyl tape or similar.
• Use only the supplied screw s for
installation. Use of any other screw s
may damage the unit.

screw s (minus) for protecting the
internal mechanism before you
start to install the unit.

screw , retain it carefully and
attach it again before transporting
the unit again.
