Encoder
The TS -4405 uses a n optical encord e r . Two different clock
signals from the encoder a re 90°, out of phase with each
other. This phase difference is not adjustable but depends
on the precision of the mod u l e . The two clock sig nals are
converted into clock pulses (250 pulses/rotation
x
4) and U /D
signals indicating the direction of rotation by the 40 1 1 and
4030 a n d fed into the 7800 . Figu re 1 5 is a timing chart for
clock pulse and the U /D sig nal transmitted to the 7800 .
