Configuration worksheet

All parameters in this worksheet should be considered a minimum configuration to
enable the router to pass traffic.

Ethernet LAN configuration

In most cases, you can use the default LAN IP address and subnet mask. However,
you must change these settings if you are installing the router on a LAN with static
IP addresses, or where another device is already using the default Ethernet LAN IP
address of 192.168.1.1.
To change the default values, go to the

Configure > Interfaces > Ethernet Ports 1-4

page of the router’s graphical interface, and select

Edit IP

 in the iplan

Controls

 list.

Enter the following information:

 for further information.

For settings related to Frame Relay installations, select

Switch to Frame

 in the T1

port Controls list and enter a unique name for the Frame Relay interface, such as
FR-1. (See the

Q-Series User’s Guide

 for naming conventions.)

When you return to

T1 Port 1

 page, select

Add DLCI

to add the following information for each DLCI to be configured in the router.
