UNPACKING AND SET UP

Carefully inspect all components to insure that there is

no concealed freight damage.  If such damage is dis-
covered, file a Damage Report immediately with the de-
livering carrier.

Install the batteries and cables as illustrated on the

BATTERY WIRING DIAGRAM located inside the ma-
chine on the hood.

PREPARATION

WARNING: BEFORE ANY SERVICING  BE SURE
THE MACHINE IS TURNED OFF AND THE BAT-
TERY CHARGER IS DISCONNECTED.

PAD INSTALLATION  (Figure 1)

CAUTION: Use of burnishing pads larger than 19”

diameter will damage this machine.

Turn the MASTER SWITCH “ON” and raise the pad

head by toggling the PAD LIFT SWITCH to the “UP” po-
sition.  Open the machine’s hood and tilt the pad head
back.  Unscrew the padholder, center the pad on the
driver and press on.  Replace the padholder.

CONTROLS

MASTER SWITCH  (Figure 2)
Turn on main power for machine operation.  When this

switch  is in the “ON” position, the pilot light is illumi-
nated.

VACUUM MOTOR SWITCH  (Figure 3)
Turn on the vacuum motor to collect dust created when

burnishing the floor.

PAD LIFT SWITCH  (Figure 4)
Toggle to OFF to raise or ON to lower the pad head.

PAD PRESSURE GAUGE  (Figure 5)
This reference gauge shows the amount of pad pres-

sure on the floor relative to the amount of amperage
draw on the pad drive motor.

PAD PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT KNOB  (Figure 6)
Turn knob counterclockwise to increase “+”, clockwise

to decrease “-” pad pressure.

TRAVERSE SPEED  (Figure 7)
Turn knob counterclockwise to increase machine

speed, clockwise to decrease.

CIRCUIT BREAKER - 70 AMP  (Figure 8)
This protects the pad drive motor circuit from overloads.

CIRCUIT BREAKER - 5 AMP  (Figure 9)
This protects the dynamic braking system from a po-

tential short circuit.
