6.2 Operational controls
At the front of the ProfiMaster are the following components as well as connection
options:
- Unit on/off switch I / 0
This switch switches the unit on and off. The green light ring around the switch
displays the fault-free operation of the device or the operational readiness
when using a start-stop sensor.
If a fault or an error occurs, the green light goes off. The unit switches off
automatically. This fault or error should be dealt with as described in section
7.4 (Troubleshooting).
After the occurrence of a fault or an error and its subsequent elimination, the
power switch must be pressed again.
- Signal light
The yellow signal light indicates a device fault or error. These errors are
displayed visually by various blink codes.
The indicator lamp flashes evenly at regular intervals:
-The unit needs servicing
The signal light flashes 2 times in quick succession at regular intervals:
- The motor protection relay has been triggered
The signal light flashes 3 times in quick succession at regular intervals:
-Incorrect phase sequence, the fan is rotating in the wrong direction
During error-free operation of the device, the yellow signal lamp is not
illuminated.
- Controls to adjust the follow-up time during start-stop operation
When connecting a start-stop sensor (optional), the follow-up time of
extraction, from 5 to 60 seconds, can be adjusted here.
The extraction run-time after completing the welding process in this case is at
least 5 and a maximum of 60 seconds.
- Maintenance jack
Connection option for the KEMPER service. This interface allows the
KEMPER service to change the settings on the unit.
