6. Menu control / "Display" "Menu" function
6.1 Control panel
The hand-held measuring instrument is set and controlled using a four key control panel.
Key 1 ESC:
Exit the menu – switch between display / main menu
Key 2 OK:
Acknowledgement key -
switch between display / units menu
Key 3 :
Scroll back
Key 4 :
Scroll forward

Switching on / Switching off / Battery saver mode
Switch the device on by pressing the
"OK"
key > 1 sec.
Switch the device off by pressing the
"Esc."
key > 2 sec.
If no input is made for 60 sec. (factory setting, time can be set in the system settings), the device goes into the battery
saver mode and the display illumination is turned off. Press any key to switch the display back on.
If no input is made for 180 sec. (factory setting, time can be set in the system settings), the device switches off.
6.3 Power up with "OK"

Press "OK" key for > 1 sec.

KEMPER logo and the software version are displayed for approx. 5 sec.
