HYDRAULIC OIL
Topping up hydraulic oil:
1.) There is an oil plug in front of the seat. Top up the oil tank with HLP46 hydraulic oil, while
keeping an eye on the oil level gauge. When the tank is full, screw the oil plug back into position.
When topped up for the first time, the oil should be
between the black and red lines on the level gauge.
Then start the engine and operate the control levers.
Move all cylinders to their outermost position and retract
them once, so that they are filled with oil.
Then fill the tank with oil for a second time between
the black and red lines.
2.) Start the engine and allow it to idle. NOTE: Don’t forget to remove the transport
locking device!
3.) Pull lever #1 back and forth to remove air from the system. While moving, look at the
transparent hose on the right-hand side under the control levers. If there is a flow of bubbles,
this is normal. If there is foam between the bubbles, it means that there is still air in
the system. Continue to push and pull the lever until there is a flow of bubbles.
Follow the same procedure on the other lever. When both levers are ready, fill the tank with
oil up to the black line. The whole system contains approx. 14.6 litres (HLP46).
4.) Turn off the engine and screw the cover back on.
CHANGING THE HYDRAULIC OIL
•
Remove the intake filter at the bottom of the frame, on the underside of the engine.
When the hydraulic oil has been drained, replace the filter and screw it back into the tank.
Important! Drained oil should be transported to a location designated by your local authority.
Contact your local authority for further information.
•
Then follow the same procedure as above. NOTE: Replace the transport locking device
if the machine is to be transported.
Handle fuel with caution
•
Use only approved fuel containers.
•
NEVER fill the engine with fuel while it is running.
•
Fill the petrol tank with caution.
Important! Do not overfill!
Always fill the engine
with fuel outdoors.
We recommend you use alkylate petrol
.
•
Replace the fuel cap securely and wipe off any spilt fuel.
•
Replace the transport locking device.
