REPAIR (6, 8)
Pull the mains plug out of the
socket immediately if you suspect
a technical defect. Take the
appliance to your nearest repair
shop and have it checked. The
manufacturer accepts no liability
for damage as a result of incorrect
handling of the appliance.
Caution: Tampering with the ap-
pliance can lead to serious danger
for the user.

If not handled correctly, electri-
city can cause fatal injuries.
Connect the electrical appliance
to a properly installed power
socket with a mains voltage
corresponding to the technical
data for the device.Never use
a defective mains cable. If the
mains cable is damaged, please
contact the repair service.Only
use extension cables which are in
perfect condition.
COMMISSIONING AND OPE-
RATION
An electric shock can be fatal!
Please comply with the safety
regulations.
Unpack the appliance and wipe all
parts off with a damp cloth.
Place the base (c) on a level, stab-
le and heat-resistant surface.
Place the grill plate (a) on the hol-
ders (e) and plug the mains cable
(h) into the socket.
Tip: Before using the device for
the first time, heat it for approx.
4 - 5 minutes – without the pans.
It will smoke a little and there will
be a smell, but this is perfectly
normal and no cause for concern.
Make sure the room is adequately
ventilated!
Switch the appliance on by
pressing the rocker switch (i). The
status lamp (k) lights up, showing
that the device is heating up. The
device is now ready for use. Fill
the pans to taste. Before grilling
meat with a low fat content or ve-
getables, brush them with a little
cooking oil before placing them
on the grill plate (a). Meat with a
normal fat content will cook in its
own juices. Enjoy your meal!
To prevent damage to the pans
(g), always use the spatulas
provided (g).
PACKAGING MATERIAL
Do not simply throw the packaging
material away. Recycle it.
Paper, cardboard and corrugated
cardboard packaging belongs in
the paper bank, plastic packaging
components and film in the corre -
sponding recycling bin.
DISPOSAL
At the end of their service life,
appliances must be rendered un-
usable. Separate the mains cable
from the appliance.
Do not dispose of the appliance
with the household waste. Take
it to a communal collection point
(recycling centre) for electrical and
electronic appliances, where it will
be disposed of free of charge, or
return it to your dealer.
WARRANTY
We offer a 2-year warranty from the
date of purchase for proven techni-
cal defects in the appliance. Please
refer to the purchase contract for
details of the warranty terms.
This warranty does not cover
• any parts subject to normal wear
and tear (e. g. seals).
• defects arising as a result
of failure to comply with the
instructions for the handling,
maintenance and care of the
appliance.
• defects resulting from inappro-
priate and improper use, failure
to use original spare parts or
negligent handling and the con-
sequences of incorrect modifica -
tions or repairs to the appliance
and repairs or modifications
effected without our approval by
the purchaser or third parties.
