Overview

You can attach a KUSB-3160 module to the host computer in one of
two ways:

• Connect directly to a USB port of the host computer, described on

. Use this method if one or two KUSB-3160 modules are

sufficient for your application.

• Connect to one or more self-powered USB hubs, described on

. Use this method if your application requires more than

two KUSB-3160 modules connected to the host computer.

Note:

The KUSB-3160 module is a high-power device (using

500 mA); however, it does not require an external power supply.
