Status register overview
You can use status register programming to determine the operating condition of the power supply at
any time. For example, you can program the power supply to generate an interrupt when an event
such as overtemperature protection occurs.
The Standard Event Register, Status Byte Register, Service Request Enable Register, and the output
queue perform standard GPIB functions as defined in the IEEE-488.2 Standard Digital Interface for
Programmable Instrumentation - Part 2: Codes, Formats, Protocols, and Common Commands. The
Operation Status Register and Questionable Status Register implement functions that are specific to
the Series 2230G.
