3. Safety notes
3.1 General safety instructions
Follow all instructions given in this manual. In addi-
tion, observe all relevant statutory provisionsand
regulations, and also those applicable in the country
of operation.
• The device must only be connected by qualified,
trained and authorized service technicians.
• Arbitrary modifications or conversions of the equip-
ment are not permissible.
• Observe all danger signs and safety notices
attached to the equipment.
• Safety notices must not be removed, and safety
devices must not be disabled or removed.
• The device must only be operated when in perfect
working condition.
• Never operate the device with the outer covers
removed!
• The device is not protected against water ingress.
When cleaning the equipment, please observe the
corresponding notes in the “Cleaning” chapter!
• Faultless operation can only be guaranteed on a
low-vibration surface.
3.2 Duties of the operator
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for dam-
ages or injuries resulting from improper use of the
equipment or non-observance of these operating
instructions.
Only use original spare parts, otherwise operating
authorization and terms of guarantee will become
invalid.
3.3 Intended use
This device is designed to generate vertical high-
intensity vibrations intended to traverse the body
[whole body vibration (WBV)] and cause involuntary
muscle contractions.
This device is used for muscle stimulation of an adult
person who is in full command of his/her physical,
sensorial and mental faculties. Moreover, sufficient
knowledge and experience are required.
If in doubt, consult a physician.
3.4 Indications for use
This product is an over-the-counter, powered exer-
cise device.
The correct use of this device can temporarily impro-
ve local blood circulation, relax the muscles locally
and relieve minor pain and muscle cramps.
The use of this device cannot replace treatment by a
licensed physician or healthcare professionals!
3.5 Contraindications
Any adult person listed here after may not use this
device:
• This device is contraindicated for use on persons
under the age of 18 years.
• Persons suffering from acute inflammations within
the locomotor system.
• Persons that have recently undergone an operation
or have new fractures.
• Persons with fresh wounds and scars in body
regions to be trained.
• Persons who have implants in the body regions to
be trained (e.g. artificial joints).
• Persons suffering from acute tendopathy (tendon
problems) in the body regions to be trained.
