Operating Instructions KBL 7900/KBL 7000/KBL Convertible

 Tightening the 

springs

If the canopy does no longer remain fi rmly in the upper position, 
the two springs have to be re-tightened. For that purpose you 
will need a spanner type SW19.

In the centre of the lower front cover there is a square 
bolt. Place the enclosed key onto this square element.

Unlock the bed by turning the key anti-clockwise. By 
doing so, the bed will slightly go up.

Open the bed completely. 

4

Check the ropes for wear. If individual wires of the 
rope are spliced, always replace

 both 

ropes.

Lubricate the ropes in the area of the turn-around 
rolls in the base frame and of the eccentric discs in 
the canopy, using rope grease type HHS 2000*  (KBL 
1200024100).
