This device contains harmful dust. Only professionals and wearing the appropriate
protective equipment may empty and service the device including emptying the dust
collector. Only original KaVo filters may be used.
The manufacturer or someone trained as a master dental technician must perform a
technical test at least once a year, for example check the filter for damage, the hose
lines for cracks, the seal of the machine, the functioning of the control unit, and the
filtration.
Precautionary measures while servicing:
▪ Before removing the dust extraction system from the contaminated area, it should
be aspirated or wiped clean, and the openings on the untreated air side must be
sealed.

- Accessory parts (hoses, etc.) are to be considered contaminated and treated

The materials are vacuumed with the aid of various collecting elements in accordance
with ergonomic regulations.
Note
Only work on the suction hood with the protective shield.
2.3 Safety instructions
2.3.1 General
Note
If the set volume flow is below 80% for more than 10 minutes, the consumer and
the dust extraction is shut down forcibly.
This product has only been approved for use indoors.
WARNING
Injury or damage from damaged functional parts.
Damage to functional parts can cause further damage or personal injury.
▶ Check the device, electrical cables and any accessories for possible damage to
the insulation and replace if necessary.
▶ If functional parts are damaged: discontinue your work and repair the damage or
notify a service technician!
