Important Remarks
The INTRA LUX motor is
- a dental low - voltage electrical motor of type 2 according to ISO 11498
- is not admitted for use in areas with risk of explosions.
- only to be used by a qualified dental practitioner, in connection with the provision
of dental treatment to dental patients, any other use may prove dangerous and is
strictly forbidden,
- a medical product according to the applicable national provisions of law.
In conformity with these regulations, the INTRA LUX motor may only be used by a
competent person for the described application, and under consideration of
- the valid regulations on work safety,
- the valid accident prevention measures,
- these operating instructions.
In conformity with these regulations it is the duty of the user
- to use only faultless tools,
- to ensure that it is used for the correct purpose,
- to protect patients and third parties from all dangers.
Risks from electromagnetic fields (cardiac pacemakers)
When treating patients with cardiac pacemakers or comparable implanted
systems, it must be expected that electromagnetic fields will influence
the functioning of the implanted systems. Before the beginning of the
treatment, the user must question the patient accordingly.
