DANGER
Electrical power.
Life-threatening hazard
▶ The electrical part of the device may only be repaired
and serviced by professionals or persons trained at the
plant who have been made aware of the safety instruc‐
tions.
▶ Before opening the housing parts, pull the power plug
to turn off the power.
DANGER
Fire hazards from lack of cleaning.
Life-threatening hazard
▶ Clean the filter elements and exhaust hood every six
months or when the suction is noticeably less.
Note
The filter elements may no be cleaned with hard objects (such as a putty
knife, screw driver, etc).
▶ Unplug the power plug from the socket.
▶ Wait if necessary until the fan motor is completely still.
▶ Remove the filter elements ① from the exhaust hood. Shove the filter elements
upward until they can be swung out.
▶ Clean the filter elements with a steam jet or hot water.
▶ Clean the inside and outside of the exhaust hood using stainless steel cleanser.
▶ Clean the peripheral groove ① for capturing condensation and contaminated
water.
