Note:
If you have changed the basic settings of your receiver and want
to cancel them, you can select the factory settings at any time and
restore the original setup (see “Installation” section, “Factory Reset”
subsection).
Initial Setup
A scan is now performed, and the unit switches to its basic setting. The
on-screen display details the further steps.
The screen displays the fi rst channel in the list. In the bottom section
of the screen is an information bar showing the name of the channel
provider, the time, the timer settings, the channel status and title,
provided those details are being broadcast. The LED display indicates
the channel‘s memory location number.
Each time you switch on the unit the last reception setting is
restored.
If the message “Poor or no signal” appears on the screen as well as the
display for the last channel received, check the installation of the system
and/or the receiver settings. If only specifi c channels are affected, the
broadcaster‘s signal may be down.
Check the time for summer or Winter time (see “System Settings”
section). If you have selected an incorrect time zone you will get
incorrect programme times!
• Press the
buttons to toggle country selections between Austria
and Germany
• Use the
buttons to move the cursor onto the
“Language”
line
and press the
buttons to select the menu language you want
to use
• Use the
buttons to move to the
“Time zone”
line and select
your desired time zone using the
buttons (+ 1 hour for Winter
time / + 2 hours for Summer time).
• Use the
buttons to move to the
“Active antenna”
line and
make your selection using the
buttons. Select
“OFF”
for a
non-active antenna and 5 V “ON” if an active antenna is connected to
the antenna input.
• Press the
button to start the scan
In the next sequence you should allow the unit to store the settings.
