Signal paths
Activating and changing individual fields is carried out as follows.
Select the desired entry field {XYZ} with [0]-[9] or [ ▼ ] / [ ▲ ] and
activate the field by pressing [OK].
The parameters are set with the [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] button.
With [OK], the selection is completed.
TV–SCART-VCR OUTPUT
The following combinations on the TV socket and VCR socket are
possible!
CVBS CVBS
CVBS YC
RGB CVBS (RGB offers the best picture quality on
the television set)
RGB YC (You can use YC for a S-VHS videore-
corder)
YC CVBS
YC YC
CVBS: = Composite Video Broadband Signal
FBAS: = Colour/picture/blanking/synchronising signal
(complies with CVBS)
YC: = S-Video (Y: „Brightness“, C: „Chrominance“)
TV > VCR (Video return path)
If {ON} is selected, the video and audio signals are passed on from
the TV socket to the VCR socket, also in standby.
If {OFF} is selected, the power consumption is ca. 0.5 watts less.
VCR-Signal INPUT
For VCR replay, you can choose between {CBVS/RGB} or {YC} = S-
Video for connection of a S-VHS video recorder.
Picture format
When the unit is set to {4:3}, all programmes will appear in 4:3 format.
When the unit is set to {16:9}, the programmes, which are transmitted
in broadband format with the appropriate recognition, are automati-
cally switched to 16:9 representation.
The automatic adaptation of the video width only occurs if your televi-
sion set can process and display 16:9 formats
(Switching voltage 16:9 = 6 volt).
