FUNZIONAMENTO:
1. Please read this manual carefully before starting to use this appliance!
2. In case this appliance is given to third persons please make sure that this
manual is given to them, too.
3. No liability can be granted for damages which are caused by inappropriate
usage or wrong treatment.
4. At first please check if the current and the mains voltage are corresponding
to the indications shown on the type label of the charging station. Only use
the rechargeable battery and charging station delivered with this appliance.
5. Do not touch either the cheese grater, the rechargeable battery, charging
station or the power plug with wet or damp hands.
6. Only use this cheese grater for its intended purpose.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user main
-
tenance shall not be made by children. Do not at all operate this unit with an
external timer or a separate telecontrol system.
8. The electric cheese grater must not be operated close to cooktops, gas
flames or other heat sources. Store the cheese grater in sufficient distance to
warm surfaces.
9. Remove the plug from the socket as soon as the recharging process is
finished.
10. Never submerge the appliance into water or other liquids. Do not clean
the device in the dishwater.
11. Check the power cord before every charging for damage. Avoid smashing
or kinking the power cord or abrasion on sharp edges. If the power cord is
damaged, it must definitely be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or similar or qualified person.
12. Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has entered the
housing, or if the device has fallen.
13. Never try to open or repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfun

ctions, have the appliance repaired by qualified experts, only. Contact your
authorized dealer whenever the device is in need of repairs.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Only use the lever to push the cheese into the filling shaft. Never use
your fingers.

Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

•
Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth. Never submerge the ap

pliance into water or other liquids. Do not clean the device in the dishwater.
•
Charge the battery for about 16 hours in the charging unit.
