MAINTENANCE
Engine cooling water tank is located inside of
the engine hatch. To reach the tank open the
hatch first.
Engine Cooling Water
INFORMATION
• Check the cooling water level regularly.
• Ensure that the engine is stopped prior
to check the water level.
• Park the vehicle on a plain surface.
• Do not full fill the expansion tank. Add
water till the low engine cooling water
level warning lamp is disappeared.
• If distilled water is added to the
tank,antifreeze ratio will be changed.
• Anti-freeze addition or replacement
should be done by authorized KARSAN
service stations.
• To prevent the damages due to the
cooling water problems,take the vehicle
to a KARSAN service station.
Access
Check the level inside the tank. If the coolant
level below “min” line, then refill the tank up
to “max” line with a suitable water - antifreeze
mixture.

WARNING
Ensure that water used in the mixture is
pure and clean. Dirts and remainings in the
mixture may harm the engine.
WARNING
Always check the coolant level when the
engine is cold. Never open the tank cap
when the content is hot.
