3.2 WATERCONNECTION
For quick connection of hoses are cleaner and accessories equipped with high
pressure screw couplings and waterhose couplings.
Beware that the cleaner always gets sufficient water. The waterconsumption of the
machine reaches up to 900 ltrs/hour for the HD 900-150 and the HD 900-200, and
600 ltrs/hour for the HD 600-100. That amount your waterconduit should deliver.
So use hoses of sufficient diameter and turn tap fully open. Beware that hoses do
not bend or leak. Do not place any heavy objects on hoses, nor place hoses over
sharp edges.
4.0 FIRST USE
1.
Check if the instructions mentioned above have been executed.
2.
Check the oil level of the compressor. Possibly oil is lost during transport. Fill if
necessary with good quality oil (Airpress) through the fillercap. The level has to
be between the top of the oil glass and the red dot on it.
5.0 OPERATING
Fill the fuel tank (No. 7) with diesel oil or domestic fuel oil. The machine is built for
optional detergent usage.
The HD 900-150 and the HD 900-200 are built to spray the detergent along from
an internal tank: this tank (No. 19) and the fillercap are placed under the hood.
However, the HD 600-100 has external detergent possibilities.
Refill detergent tank if necessary. Use exclusively good cleansing agents, in liquid
form to prevent blockages and sludging in hoses, pipes, tubecoil etc. If powder
detergent is needed, mix them thorrowly with (hot) water and then use them in the
machine. We advise you not to use powder agents in the internal tank because of
deposit.
The waterconnection between tap and cleaner is made by connecting the coupling
(No. 6) and opening the tap. Open the watersupplytap (and maincock) widely, so
that the cleaner gets sufficient water.
Connect high pressure hose with gun by means of couplings to the cleaner (No.
9). If necessary connect a brush to the gun. If the apparatus has not been used for
a long period of time, you are advised to take the nozzle out of the gun, and to
have the apparatus flushed with clean water for some time.
Check wether the on/off switch (No. 1) is off. Make electric connection by putting
the plug into a socket with marginal earth.
Now switch on the machine. By squeezing the trigger of the spouting gun you will
get a waterbeam. On the pressure gauge (No. 4) you can read the pressure of the
water. You can change the pressure by turning the pressure regulator (No. 5). Left
for lower pressure, right for higher. When you stop spraying, the machine keeps
