7.6 Transporting and Storing
7.6.1 The wheelchair may be disassembled for ease of transport. Please refer to
Section 5 for more detailed information on the individual steps. Reverse
the order for reassembly.
7.6.2 Remove the seat from the lower body. Be sure that the controller is
detached from the seat.
7.6.3 Remove the swing-away footrests.
7.6.4 Carry the body of the wheelchair by the front and back frame using two
people. Do not lift the lower body by the casing or any detachable parts
7.6.5 Please store the wheelchair in a location where it is out of direct sunlight,
rain and dew.
7.6.6 When stored for a long time, please charge the batteries to full and then
disconnect the battery terminals.

As of this date, Saber GT series can NOT be used as seats in any vehicles.
That is, KARMA recommends that users are NOT transported in any
vehicle while seated in the wheelchair. In the case of accident or a
sudden stop, the user or passengers may be at risk of getting injury. The
suggested solution is to transfer the user from the wheelchair into a
vehicle seat and to securely stow the wheelchair in a separate
compartment.
