Instructions for use
Dear user,
• Carefully read these instructions for use before using
the control unit. This will enable you to utilise all
benefits which the device has to offer and prevent
damage.
• If particular problems occur which are not dealt with
in sufficient detail in these installation instructions,
please contact your supplier for your own safety.
• Unauthorised changes or conversions to the control
unit are not permitted for safety reasons.
• Subject to technical modifications.
Meaning of the symbols used in the instructions
for use:
WARNING:
The possibility of serious or even fatal injury exists
in the event of non-observance.
CAUTION:
The possibility of slight to moderate injury or mate-
rial damage exists in the event of non-observance.
TIP:
Gives tips for use and useful information.
Fire risk
Store these instructions for installation and use
carefully near to the control unit in order to be
able to refer to safety tips and important operating
information at any time.
General safety information
Please also heed the special safety information in
the individual chapters.
Use as intended:
• Before switching on the sauna control unit and when
setting a preset time (time until the heater starts) it
must be ensured that no combustible objects are
placed on the heater.
• The purpose of the Modern Bio Plug‘n‘Play control
unit is to control and regulate the functions in ac-
cordance with the technical data.
• No objects must be placed on the heater.
• The Modern Bio Plug‘n‘Play control unit must only
be used to control and regulate 1 heating circuit
with a maximum heating power of 3.6 kW.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (in -
cluding children) with limited psychological, sensory
or mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received instruc
-
tions on the use of the device from this person.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
Disposal:
• Used devices contain recyclable materials. There -
fore please do not simply take used devices to the
nearest waste disposal site, instead ask your local
council about recycling facilities.
When device is not used for extended periods:
When the device is not used for extended periods,
switch off the main fuses of the control device in the
fuse box.
