Maintenance
Maintenance schedule
Once in the season:
Have the machine checked over and
maintained in a specialist workshop.
Each time before using the
machine:
Check the oil level and top up as
necessary.
Check all screw fittings for firm
seating, tighten them if necessary.
Check the safety features.
Maintenance tasks

Clean throw-out chute, worm and worm casing •
Clean air filter •
Replace air filter 1 ) •

Lubricate mobile and rotating parts •
Clean spark plugs

Check tyre pressure, increase as required •
Clean air cooling system and exhaust 1 ) l •
Check coupling adjustment, readjust as

Inspect the clearing plate, replace worn-out

Check skids, replace worn-out skids in pairs •
Check caterpillar track, readjust as required.
Replace defective caterpillar track

Replace fuel filler cap •
Have exhaust silencer replaced 2 ) •
