Insert the vacuum bar into the vacuum
bar suspension in such a manner that
the profiled sheet is positioned above
the suspension. Tighten the wing nuts.

Insert the suction hose.
Please observe the following warning notes
when handling batteries:
Danger
Danger of explosion. Do not put tools or sim-
ilar on the battery, i.e. on the terminal poles
and cell connectors.
Risk of injury. Ensure that wounds never
come into contact with lead. Always clean
your hands after having worked with batter-
ies.
The Bp package model contains a built-in
battery.
Î
Turn the programme switch to "OFF"; in
BR/BD...W Bp model, turn the key
switch to "0".
Î
Loosen the tank fastening screw and tilt
the tank upward.
Caution
Risk of damage to batteries and tank.
Please install the batteries in the arrange-
ment shown below. Connect the joining ca-
ble and connection cable to the batteries in
the way shown below. Take care to con-
nect the correct poles. Tightly clamp the
battery pole fuse in the arrangement shown
below. Route the cables in the displayed
pattern.

Place the batteries pointing towards the
cleaning head close to each other in the
intake and tighten the screws of the fas-
tening bracket behind the batteries. En-
sure that no hoses or cables are
jammed.
Î
Lubricate the battery pole with pole
grease.
Î
Connect pole using the enclosed con-
necting cable.
