1 red LED lights up = Problem with charg-
er/ battery; inform Customer Service
2 green LED lights up = batteries are full
3 yellow LED lights up = batteries are be-
ing charged
You must attach a pad to the pad driver plate
before starting up the appliance (see "Main-
tenance tasks").
Please observe the following warning notes
when handling batteries:

Danger
Danger of explosion. Do not put tools or sim-
ilar on the battery, i.e. on the terminal poles
and cell connectors.
Risk of injury. Ensure that wounds never
come into contact with lead. Always clean
your hands after having worked with batter-
ies.
The Bp package model contains a built-in
battery.
Î
Loosen the tank lock and tilt the tank up-
wards.
Î
Place the batteries pointing towards the
polishing head close to each other in the
intake and tighten the screws of the fas-
tening bracket behind the batteries.
Î
Grease the battery poles using pole
grease.
Î
Connect poles with the enclosed con-
necting cables.
