Example 1 . If a system administrator wants to be in charge of the
disinfecting procedure.
In this case the program must be preset to block infected messages
from being delivered to the destination mailboxes and to forward these
messages to the administrator. If required, the program may also be
preset to notify the infected message sender.

Example 2 . If a system administrator wants the users to receive
disinfected messages, and wants to be informed about the infected
messages that have been processed.
In this case, the program must be preset to deliver the disinfected
messages to the recipient mailboxes and to forward a copy of the
infected message to the administrator. If required, the program may be
preset to notify the infected message sender.
The following settings are cumulative since they influence all the
messages:

Infected-object-detected notification parameters (see
subchapter 7.6.3).
•
Performance logging parameters (see subchapter 7.6.4).
•
Communication between Keeper and the daemon process (see
subchapter 7.6.5).
Keeper operates with the rights of the user running the mail system
(sendmail, Qmail, Postfix or Exim). If this user is authorized to
access OS files and you failed to define the correct path to the log
file or the temporary directory, the system files might be damaged!
