Spicy Bean Soup
Serves 4
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp dried chilli flakes
1 medium zucchini, diced
8 green beans, 2cm pieces
400g can diced tomatoes
1 tsp salt
600ml vegetable stock
410g can red kidney beans, drained
¼ cup coriander leaves, roughly chopped
¼ cup sour cream, to serve

Place the oil, onion, garlic, chilli,
zucchini, green beans, red kidney
beans, tomatoes, salt and stock into
the soup maker.
2.
Place the motor body/lid on to the
soup maker.
3.
Select the ‘CHUNKY’ soup setting and
then select the ‘START’ button.
4.
Serve soup with coriander leaves and
with a scoop of sour cream.
Chicken Noodle Soup
Serves 4
1 clove garlic, minced
1 brown onion, diced
500g chicken thigh, thinly sliced
1 carrot, peeled, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1 tsp whole black peppercorns
800ml chicken stock
125g vermicelli noodles
¼ cup parsley leaves, roughly chopped,
to serve

Place the garlic, onion, chicken,
carrot, celery, bay leaf, salt, pepper
and stock into the soup maker.
2.
Place the motor body/lid on to the
soup maker.
3.
Select the ‘CHUNKY’ soup setting and
then select the ‘START’ button.
4.
Stir through the noodles and serve
soup with parsley.
NOTE:
If not serving the chicken
noodle soup immediately, you
can add the cooked noodles
before serving.
NOTE:
You can substitute the
vermicelli noodles for instant
fried noodles. They will take
an extra 2 minutes to cook
through.
