4 Operating Kalfire Gi
4.1 Operation options
Operation of the fireplace can be done using either the Kalfire remote control
or the Kalfire Connected app. The Kalfire Connected app offers more and more
extensive operating options. This app can be downloaded for free in the Apple
and Android app store respectively. The remote control comes standard with
the fireplace.
4.2 KalSense ring
The patented KalSense ring located directly behind the glass at the
front of the fireplace provides instant feedback on operating actions.
The ring indicates the status of the fireplace by means of colour, tessellation
and/or flashing. For example, if the EmberGlow function is activated with the
remote control or via the app, the ring briefly lights up orange and then goes
out again.
The 9 boxes (LED lights) into which the ring is divided indicate the level of a
particular function. The example below shows the fireplace's "flame height up"
function, which consists of 5 levels. The higher the level, the more LEDs in the
KalSense ring light up brightly. In the KalfireConnected app, the KalSense ring is
also displayed on the screen. This corresponds to the KalSense ring in the
fireplace.
