Replacing batteries 

 

The 

remote control is powered by two ‘penlight’ alkaline batteries (type 

AA, 1.5V). If the symbol 

  flashes in the display, replace the batteries. 

If the batteries

 are completely empty, the display will be blank. Always 

ensure you replace the old batteries in time. 

 

Method 

1.

 

Remove the cover on the back of the remote control 
by pressing it a few millimetres downwards and the 
lifting it. 

2.

 

Remove the old batteries. 

3.

 

Place new batteries as shown in the figure on the left.

 

4.

 

Replace the cover on the rear of the remote control by 
slotting lips A and B into the corresponding openings in 
the remote control housing.  

5.

 

Slide the rear cover upwards to lock it. 

 

6.

 

If you use a clock programme, you must now reset the time and day 
of the week.  

 

 

Do not throw old batteries away, but dispose of them correctly 
as chemical waste.
