Mounting the spacer
To hide the edges of the appliance, you can order a made to measure
mantelpiece from Kal-fire. Adhere the upper fitting frame to the spacer
and allow it to rest on the upright frames. When the adhesive has
hardened, slide the upper fitting frame upwards and move it to the left.
The fitting frame will remain in the upper position so the window can be
removed. See chapter 7. To replace the frame in its original position,
move the frame upwards and to the right. This unlocks the frame so it
can be lowered carefully.
Attention! Check that the Fairo is working correctly before gluing
the fitting frame. After the adhesive has been applied, it is not
possible to open the Fairo until the adhesive has dried and
hardened.
Step 1
Test the appliance before mounting the spacer. After the spacer has
been mounted you must observe the hardening time of the adhesive
used. This means that you cannot open the window again until this time
has elapsed.
Step 2
At the front of the appliance is a plate (spacer). Unscrew it to loosen so it
can be moved upwards and downwards.
