System Requirements
The
505DSP transceiver
is
controlled by software residing on your PC. The software Will
operate with any computer running

NT. Microsoft
requires
a
386DX
or
higher processor and 4 MB of memory (8 MB recommended) for Windows
95. Your computer must have
at
least 2 MB
of
free
hard drive space,
to store
the 505DSP
control software, and
a
spare serial port. You
also
need
a
4-
or
8-Ohm external speaker
unless your computer is equipped with
a
sound card
and
speakers.
The 505DSP Transceiver operates from
I 2 Volts D.C. Your power supply must be capable
of
delivering at least 25 amps continuous duty. Use
of
small power supplies may result in distorted
audio, low power output, erratic operation
or
all
of
the above.
