Playing Time Display [TIME DISPLAY]

While a disc is playing you can display the elapsed/remaining playing time for a track, the elapsed/remaining playing
time for the disc. You can also display the playing time while a disc is stopped.
• You can perform these operations from the remote control.
Using time display during playback

While a disc is playing

Press [TIME DISPLAY].
Each time you press the button, the time display changes as shown below.
• When playing DVD Audio/Audio CD discs
EACH (Elapsed playing time of the current track)
↓
EACH REMAIN (Remaining playing time of the current track)
↓
No display
↓
REMAIN
• When playing Video CD discs (with PBC Off)
EACH (Elapsed playing time of the current track)
↓
EACH REMAIN (Remaining playing time of the current track)
Note:

You can only use time display for Video CD discs when PBC is set to Off. If PBC is set to On, the times are not
displayed.
Using time display while a disc is stopped (using [TIME DISPLAY])

Press [TIME DISPLAY].
Each time you press the button, the time display changes as shown below.
• When Audio CD or Video CD discs are stopped (with PBC Off)
EACH (Elapsed playing time for track 1 0:00)

EACH REMAIN(Elapsed playing time for track 1)
↓
No display (Elapsed playing time from start of disc 0:00)
↓
REMAIN (Total playing time of disc)
DVD Audio: Elapsed playing time of current group
Audio CD : Elapsed playing time from start of disc
DVD Audio: Remaining playing time of current group
Audio CD : Remaining playing time of disc
