AM.
You can press TUNER on the remote control unit to
select the band.

sufficient signal strength is tuned in.

Changing the FM reception mode
When an FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive or noisy,
reception improves in monaural reception.
Press MENU/FM MODE.
STEREO indicator appears in the display window.
Press the button again to show MONO indicator in
the display window.
Select either mode for a better reception.

Note:
The FM reception mode setting may be canceled when
you tune in another station.
Using the antennas

Note:
The built-in ferrite core antenna may pick up interference
from television receivers in the neighborhood disturbing
AM reception.
Changing the AM tuning interval
The unit’s default tuning interval for AM stations is 9
kHz/step. You can change this setting when using the
unit in an area where the frequency allocation for AM
stations is 10 kHz/step.
To switch the AM tuning interval

Turn the unit on to clock mode.

Press MEMO/FM MODE twice, to enter AM set
mode.
The following indication is displayed.
AM SET
MODE:9K/10K
The number that is flashing
is the one that is set.
