Viewing the Viewfinder/LCD Screen
You can monitor video images on this camera recorder using
the viewfinder, LCD screen, or both.
Viewing with the viewfinder

Pull out the viewfinder.

Incline the viewfinder vertically to a position that
enables easy viewing.

Turn the eyepiece focus lever to adjust the focus.

When the [HDMI], [COMPONENT OUT] or [A/V OUT]
terminal is connected, video images will not appear on the
viewfinder.

Displays on the viewfinder/LCD screen
You can display the camera status, media information, and
various markers in the video image on the LCD monitor and
viewfinder screens during shooting.
Besides camera and playback images, the following
characters are displayed on the LCD monitor and viewfinder.

When [Display On TV] in the [A/V Out] menu is set to
the status screen and menu screen are also displayed in the
video image of the video signal output terminal. (

This screen allows you to check the current settings.
To display the status screen, press the [DISPLAY] button in
the normal screen.
The status display differs according to the operation mode,
namely Camera, Media, and USB.
