Remove the water tank and rinse it.
T
Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert.
T
Empty the three receptacles and place them under the dual
spout, the steam pipe and the hot water pipe.

Press the descaling button.
MACHINE IS DESCALING, water flows from the steam pipe,
the dual spout and the hot water pipe.
The process is interrupted, EMPTY DRIP TRAY.

Empty the drip tray.
EMPTY COFFEE GROUNDS CONT.

Empty the coffee grounds container.
T
Replace the coffee grounds container and the drip tray.
Your IMPRESSA is once more ready for operation.
Coffee beans may be covered with a slight oil film which remains on
the walls of the bean container. These residues may negatively affect
the coffee results. For this reason clean the bean container from
time to time.

Switch the machine off with the on/off button

Remove the cover of the bean container.
T
Remove the remaining beans with a vacuum cleaner.

Clean the bean container with a soft, dry cloth.

Fill the coffee beans into the bean container and replace the
cover.
Limescale deposits may form in the water tank. To ensure correct
function of your IMPRESSA, you should descale the water tank from
time to time.

Remove the water tank.
T
If you use a CLARIS filter cartridge, remove this.
T
Descale the tank with a mild conventional descaling agent
in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
T
Rinse the water tank with clean water afterwards.
T
If you use a CLARIS filter cartridge, insert this again.
