2 Preparation
Example:
Proceed as follows to prepare a coffee with coffee beans
from the
grinder on the left.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’
is displayed. ‘Beans à la carte’
mode is activated.

Place a cup under the dual spout.
T
Press the
‘+’
button on the left-hand side several times until
the value is set to ‘100%’.
E
The grinder selection remains active until the setting is
changed by you, even if the GIGA is switched off in the mean-
time.
T
Press the
‘Coffee’
button.
Preparation starts.
‘Coffee’
and the fill volume are displayed.
The preset amount of water for coffee flows into the cup.
Preparation stops automatically.
‘Please select product:’
appears on the display.
The following temperatures can be selected for preparing hot water:
‘Low’
,
‘Normal’
,
‘High’
.
There is a danger of scalding from hot water splashes.

Avoid direct contact with the skin.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’
is displayed.

Place a cup under the hot-water spout.
T
Press the
‘Hot water’
button.
‘Hot water’
and the temperature are displayed.

By pressing the
‘+’
or
‘–’
button
(within approximately
2 seconds)
you can set the temperature to your individual
preference. This setting is not saved.
‘Hot water’
, hot water flows into the cup. Preparation stops
automatically when the preset amount of water is reached.
‘Please select product:’
appears on the display.
