Installation, Backup and Restore

The following chapters describe how to reinstall, create a backup and restore a backup.

Using the "Backup and Restore" options available in the

Configuration Center

, the device settings

can be reset, backed up and copied.

To install an image saved on an external storage device on one or more devices, a special boot USB

stick must be created, see next chapter.

Bootable USB Assistant

Requirements

- USB stick with at least 16 GB storage space.

- Administrative permissions

- PC with Microsoft Windows 10 (or higher)

- Bootable USB Wizard to create the installation USB stick:

Download the current version of the "Bootable USB Assistant" from the Jungheinrich RDT support

Run the wizard from the local PC and not from a network drive

Creating the Boot USB Stick

1. Download the current version of the Boot USB Wizard from the support website. Unpack the

archive and start the "bootusbcreator.exe" with administrative rights.
