4.3 Pedestrian mode
CAUTION!
Risk of trapping

Steering set straight-ahead.
 The operator must always stand beside the truck during pedestrian operation.

There must be no persons standing between the truck and any obstacles.
 There must be no persons on the operator platform.

In pedestrian mode the truck can be operated by the operator from either side while
walking alongside. In this case, the truck travels at a significantly reduced speed.
Travel using the “pedestrian” button
Procedure
• Press the “pedestrian” button (8,10).
Z
The speed can be set via travel parameters, (see "Parameters" on page 62).
Z
When you travel via the "pedestrian" button (8,10) you can steer b/- 10°
left and right. If you steer beyond this range the truck will stop.
The truck travels at a preset reduced speed 300 mm in the chosen direction each time
the button is pressed.
