SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before use!

Electric shock can cause death. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow the instructions below.
• Only use the fountain pump for its intended purpose and observe these safety instructions at all
times.
• The user is responsible for any injuries caused directly or indirectly by incorrect use.
• Do not use the fountain pump if the cable or the pump housing appears to be damaged.
• Do not repair or replace damaged cables. In such cases the fountain pump is to be considered
unusable and must be thrown away.
• The socket to which the fountain pump is connected must have been earthed (do not use
unearthed electrical sockets or extension cables).
• Use a residual current device with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA.
• The power supply must match the value on the rating plate.
• Do not carry the fountain pump by its cord.
• You must observe current legislation and regulations when using the fountain pump in a garden
pond or swimming pool. Contact a qualified electrician in the event of any uncertainty.
• The fountain pump must not be running when people are in the water.
• Outdoor use also necessitates a 10-metre-long rubber-insulated cable.
• Switch off the power to all electrical products in contact with the water before cleaning or
servicing the fountain pump.
• Do not use the fountain pump in water to which chlorine, acidic or basic solutions have been
added, because these affect the durability of the hose. Do not use the fountain pump in saltwater.
• Do not allow the fountain pump to run dry. This could lead to irreparable damage.
