quickly with sediment from the bottom of the pump. If necessary, the fountain pump can also be used
in a horizontal position. In such cases, however, you must ensure that the motor shaft is horizontal at all
times to avoid excessive pressure. Regardless of which nozzle is to be used, it must be positioned so that it
protrudes above the surface of the water.
All of the pump’s electrical parts have been coated in a synthetic resin to increase safety. For design
reasons, there is an empty space at the very bottom of the pump housing, where water will collect during
operation. This is intended to happen and does not pose a risk.
There are three possible applications for which the fountain pump can be used:
• Simply as a fountain.
• Fountain with spray connection for water features.
• Simply as a spray connection for water features.
Use with fountain nozzle only
When the fountain pump is being installed in the pond, the fountain nozzle (18) must protrude from the
water’s surface. The tap (11) must be set to 0° (turn a full circle anti-clockwise).
The delivery heads and diameters below are to be applied when the fountain nozzle is positioned 50 mm
above the water’s surface.
