Choke
Check that the choke is not closed during normal driving. Otherwise the engine will be damaged.
See the figures below.
Spark plug
Clean around the threads before removing the spark plug. Dirt in the threads or cylinder may damage the
engine.
Replace the spark plug according to the service schedule.
Spark plug: NGK C7HSA
Electrode gap: 0.6-0.7 mm
Air filter
Clean the air filter by carefully tapping it against a hard surface.
Never squeeze the filter.
Replace the filter if it is damaged or very dirty. Contact an authorised service centre.
Warning:
Never run the engine if the air filter is defective. This will damage the engine.
Brake adjustment
Adjust the screw (4) until the play on the brake pedal is about 1-3 cm. After adjusting, check that the
brake is not still on.
