SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
Read these instructions carefully before using the product.
The machine may only be used under the supervision of an adult person.
An adult person supervising the use of the machine is responsible for any damage or accidents
that may occur to the machine and its driver.
The machine is provided with warning signs. These must always be kept in good condition and
legible. Replace defective signs immediately.
Do not immerse the machine in liquid.
The machine must only be used for its intended purpose.
Always use fresh petrol. Do not use two-stroke fuel mixed with oil.
This product must not be used if it is damaged.
Do not allow children to play with the machine.
The machine must not be used in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable
fumes/gases can occur.
Store in a dry place when not in use.
Do not expose the machine to chemicals.
Never use the machine without guards.
Only use original spare parts and accessories.
Read through the instructions carefully. Familiarise yourself with all the controls and the right way
to use the machine.
Never use the machine if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Nor when
you are tired or ill.
Always wear ear protection when operating.
Always wear a crash helmet and protective clothing when operating.
Always wear kneepads, elbow pads and safety gloves when operating.
The machine must not be used on public roads.
The machine must only be used in accordance with statutory requirements. Any other use is
prohibited.
WARNING:
Petrol is highly flammable.
Store the fuel in special containers intended for this purpose.
Only refill with petrol outdoors. Do not smoke while filling.
Fill up with fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the filler cap or fill up with petrol while the
engine is running or hot.
If any petrol is spilled, do not start the engine before moving the machine away from where you
have spilled it and avoid any form of sparking until the petrol fumes have evaporated.
Remember to screw on the cap for the petrol tank and the storage container after refilling.
Do not run the engine in confined spaces where harmful carbon dioxide gas can accumulate.
Do not change the engine settings or race the engine.
Reduce the throttle before stopping the engine, and turn off the fuel cock when you have finished.
Never store the machine with petrol in the tank in a building where the fumes can come into contact
with naked flames or sparks.
Allow the engine to cool before putting the machine in a storeroom.
If the petrol tank needs emptying, this must be done outdoors.
Store the machine out of the reach of children.
Always use a funnel and/or petrol can with overflow protection to avoid spilling petrol when refilling.
Do not overfill the petrol tank.
Do not overfill the engine oil.
Collect all the oil when changing the oil. Do not spill. Take the oil to a recycling facility.
When the machine needs to be replaced following many years of service, or it is no longer needed,
it must be disposed of according to local regulations.
The machine must never be used by persons under the influence of alcohol or other preparations
that reduce responsiveness and judgement.
