Braking
Brake with due care and attention.
To brake, first release the throttle and then apply the brake.
Avoid sudden braking on slippery surfaces.

It is essential to carry out the service measures described in this section at the specified intervals to
ensure the long life of the machine.
General instructions
In order for the machine to retain its value and to ensure an optimal service life, carry out the
maintenance described in these instructions.
WARNING:
Switch off the engine and remove the spark plug leads before carrying out any maintenance.
The engine should also be cold when carrying out maintenance.

Engine Oil
Inspection
Check the oil level in the engine before starting by unscrewing the plug shown in the figure below and
checking that the level reaches up to the top marking. Top up the oil if necessary. Use SAE20W-50 oil.
