Number of steps per day
To keep in good shape a person who weighs 60 kg should walk 10,000 steps and burn 300 calories
during one day.
Recommended number of burned calories for different body weights:
Backlight
Press the LIGHT button. The backlight stays on for 5 seconds.
NOTE!
Avoid unnecessary use of the backlight to ensure the battery lasts as long as possible.
MAINTENANCE
Do not immerse the appliance in water. If it gets wet, wipe dry immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth
Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive detergents as this can damage the plastic and electronics.
Do not expose it to excessive strain, knocks, dust, extreme temperatures or damp conditions. This
could cause malfunctioning or damage the electronics, batteries or casing.
Only use the type of batteries specified in these instructions. Do not mix new and old batteries. Old
batteries can leak.
Do not tamper with the internal components. This will invalidate the warranty, and could damage
the appliance. The appliance does not contain any parts that can be repaired by the user.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The step counting can become incorrect in the following situations:
The pedometer is not properly positioned, e.g. in a pocket, on the edge of a pocket, in the middle of
your stomach or on the side of the body.
Walking in crowded places when the step length becomes irregular.
Jogging or running.
Sharp turns, walking up or down stairs.
The motion sensitivity is incorrectly set.
The appliance has been exposed to knocks or moisture.
The pedometer is not at right angles to the ground.
