(4) Adjusting the thread trimmer mechanism
1) Adjusting the position of the moving knife
Top end of thread separation nail
0.5 to 0.7mm

screwdriver or the like and adjust so that a
clearance of 0.5 to 0.7 mm should be provided
between thread separation nail

1. Loosen screws

and close the
clearance with stopper

so that the
dimension between the edge of fixed
knife link

and the groove end of
throat plate is 13 to 14 mm. Then fix
screws

[Thread trimming position]
1. Adjust the clearance between the blade point
of moving knife

and the right end of the slot
of throat plate is 3 to 5 mm in the state that
air only is ON (solenoid valve No. 14), loosen
screws

, actuate the cylinder, and fix screws

in the state that the clearance is closed.
2. After the adjustment, check that moving knife
link

smoothly moves.
When the work is
completed, do not
forget to perform the
release of lock
