3. To remove the integrated pulp container, grip the
snap up juice spout with one hand and the back
edge of the pulp container with the other. Pull up
with the stainless steel filter in place (C).
4. To remove the stainless steel filter, hold the juice
spout and grasp the stainless steel filter by the rim
to pull it out (D).
Caution: The stainless steel filter cutting teeth are
very sharp. Handle it carefully.
ASSEMBLING THE JUICE EXTRACTOR
1. Place integrated pulp container on the base with
the juice spout facing you.
2. Insert the stainless steel filter in the center of the
integrated pulp container and press down until it
snaps into place (E).
3. Place the lid on top of the integrated pulp
container.
4. Insert the desired food pusher into the feed
chute (see USING THE SMALL AND LARGE FOOD
PUSHERS). Place the food pusher into the feed
chute, matching the indentations on the food
pusher to the projections on the feed chute.
5. Lock the locking latches by holding down the cover
as you fit the locking mechanism at the top of each
latch over the tab on each side of the lid (F). Press
the bottom of each latch until you hear it click into
place.
Important: The appliance will not operate until the
locking latches are locked.
6. Tilt the juice spout down into the open ( )
position (G).
7. Place the juice pitcher under the juice spout.
