Changing the standard display range at shorter intervals (STEP method)
Each time the
RANGE
and
RANGE
keys are pressed, the range will change by the
specified step value.
To use the STEP method of changing the range, you must first select the
STD. RANGE submenu and then change "RANGE MODE" to "STEP".
See page 22 for the range mode selection procedure.
Changing the step range value
The preset step value can be changed using this procedure:

Display the main menu by pressing the and keys together.

After moving to "STD. RANGE" by pressing the or key,
display the STD. RANGE submenu by pressing the key.

After moving to "STEP" by pressing the or key.

Change the step value by pressing the or key.

In the example shown at right, the step value of "5" has been
changed to "10" (meters).

Press the
MARK
key to return to the main menu.

Press the
GRAPH
key to further return to the fishfinding display.
This step value is also used as a step-by-step shift value. See
page 12 for the shift value.
